Really fucking furious wind outside!

Trees are bending over and shit... Waves crashing over the seawall.

It's making this crazy eerie howling noise as it goes past my building :helpme

It took some strength to open my balcony door, and when I did everything in my living room started blowing around.

We don't usually get this in Vancouver...

AnalProbe 07-06-2004 11:22 PM

Have you seen "The day after tomorrow" ?

Seawater temperatures are currently 13 degrees below...

Go figure.

As long as those psycho freezing spots don't hit me I'm ok.

The earth's magnetic poles are beginning their reversal process. The entire weather system is going to be all fucked up and strange as the field around the poles weaken and then eventually go into complete flux and then reverse.

What is north will be south and what is south will be north.

Gonna be some serioously fucked up property ownership issues too, because the entire gps grid is going to out of sync and no longer matched to the earth's surface with the same coordinates.

Even up on 16th we are feeling the wind. Doesn't happen to often around here. Not like this at least.

If you like to know more, Google for "Polar Shift".

Why do you think the navy is "exercising" in International waters ?

There's a lot of stuff going on at the moment...

fuzebox 07-07-2004 12:01 AM

What's really screwed up is, 5 minutes ago someone just launched a dozen professional fireworks off the beach, as a police car was pulled over watching...

These are the kind you only see during fireworks festivals, new years, etc...

What a fucked up thing to be doing in the middle of the night in a storm across the street from me.

:1orglaugh

I just watched 6 or so seagulls get owned...

They can't fly worth shit in this, they're just getting blown around in a circle. Very funny sight.

The first item on Google: nepa or something... Clip from their index:

Purpose:
To a small degree, the purpose of this web site is to alert a handful of you -- repeat, a few -- that a cataclysmic event may occur on earth around late May or early June. Those few are the ones with a vague sense that something big is just around the corner. The rest of you already know what's coming and you found this site through other sources.

Maybe they should change it to July / August now we're past that :)

It also says "May 2003" later on... Outdated much? :1orglaugh

They are layed down in an instant, with a mathematical precision beyond any human capability. Alien entities create them in order to communicate directly to our subconscious, oftentimes about the impending polar shift.

Now maybe I'll try a different website.

I've actually heard there is evidence this does happen, but maybe this is a bad resource :) A little looney. Interesting subject...

I'm in steveston pretty much right on the water and it's super windy here. I just had to go out and close the gate that the wind blew open, got the dog inside (he has been staying outside lately since the incedent with the skunk) but I couldn't leave him out in this.

Elli 07-07-2004 12:41 AM

Yeah it's hella windy out here in the 'burbs. My Africa tree is sounding like.. Africa. Go figure. :) Even the cat came in, yowling and all pissed off.

Firehorse 07-07-2004 12:45 AM

It's been unusually windy and cold here lately too!

fuzebox 07-07-2004 12:49 AM

I'd take pics of the water, but my camera sucks, especially at night shots.

I love storms :evil-laug
