Writing is art, while tagging is vandalism. I used to write in HS and I can tell you that planning a nice piece is hard work, and pulling it off is an art form in itself. Hell...Writing is what gave me my scholarship to the UNLV art department. :thumbsup

It's art as long as it's not on my fucking wall. Seriously though. Some of these guys have incredible talent and they fucking waste it by vandalising other people's property. Get permission. Hell, some people would probably allow you to put up a piece of art like this on their wall. It'd be pretty cool.
And other people will even pay for it. Get permission, or get paid, or do it on your own walls, or you're a fucktard. |
It is art, but that doesnt mean its acceptable to practice it on other peoples walls..
It's like playing drums in someones frontyard. Music is art, but you cant do it everywhere. |

Those look like art to me. The ones I hate are when some dickhead just scribbles his name or 'tag' on something with marker and thinks he is cool because his shit is there but really he has no skill and it looks like shit.
