Is this crazy times or what?!
The GOP just launched an affiliate program on CJ .. .. Be sure to read the last line. . . DOHT! "Description: You can help build a better tomorrow for America by supporting the Republican National Committee! You can be a part of the team working with President Bush and a Republican Congress to fully enact our compassionate conservative agenda. We need your help to continue the advancement of the bold, responsible Bush/Republican agenda for a better tomorrow for every American. We cannot do it without the help of concerned citizens like you. We must give President Bush the support he needs to keep our country moving forward in a positive direction. Only you can help provide the resources needed to re-elect a Republican president and Congress. Your support is urgently needed. This program is to acquire online donations. You will receive 30% of each donation (capped at $300). Please note that search marketing is NOT allowed. Affiliates will NOT be paid for donations generated through search engine marketing. " |
Wow, that's pretty crazy. Though, I have to admit it may be an effective method for fundraising for political organizations. Why pay professional fundraisers when you can just give individuals a small cut of what they're able to raise?
I know that for a long time they had a program where you earned "GOPoints" for doing things like registering voters, recruiting friends to volunteer, and the like. You could exchange those points for things like wallets, clothing, and chairs. Do you have a link to the source for this info? |
Log-in to cj to check it out www.cj.com/
. . . it's also covered on many news sites and affiliate marketing sites right now. It's a pretty big move for the politicial arena to go with such a "non-traditional" method of advertising. |
the guy is insane !
