First question. Who's at the very top of the dialer chain?? Most dialer resellers say "they" are, which i have a hard time believing. Which company actually started this whole dialer thing?

From what i gather it's "gib" and/or "niteline" that started it all. I'm assuming that whoever started this whole dialer thing figured they would let other webmasters resell for them to make more cash....which is why there's tons of resellers out there.

But what i don't understand is why go through a reseller if you can get one from the top? Like from gib or niteline? (if they are the original creators) Or, are the resellers attaching the dialer to there paysites so there's content? If not, who provides the content at the other end when the customer calls? The reseller or the company that the reseller got the dialer from?

Second question. I downloaded a dialer to take a look at it, and it said i would be charged something like $6.00 a minute.

Who's making that $6.00 a minute? Someone has to be. And why is the standard payout only $.35 on most dialers if someone is pocketing that much cash per minute? Or are they? If they are, why doesnt everyone just start there own dialer? If there not, where is that $6.00 per minute going to?

i never fucked around with dialers.. but heard some people DID make some profit out of it.. but i dunno how much... im sure doing a regular ol porn is much better..

but if u find the info and can charge good amount.. maybe ill conisder for my paysite or something.. 3rd option for people who dont have creditcard

Thats SE traffic didnt convert AT ALL on sign up programs but with dialer i makes a shitload.

I guess i was expecting a lot more responses since i know half the people here use dialers or run them. I didn't know this was a hush hush operation.

It really amazes me that no one here on this board questions why standard payouts are only .35 cents a minute when they're making $6.00 a minute.

If i'm wrong, and i have no idea what the fuck i'm talking about (which is usually the case), someone PLEASE explain this to me.

Obviously some cash goes to phone companies. But to say most of it going to phone companies is like saying most cc transactions from a paysite goes to the cc processor. I'm not trying to ask what people make, and companies can payout whatever they want.

I just like to do heavy research before i try new ways of promoting.

And, i'm trying to justify to myself the .35 cents payout from the $6.00 a minute before i start to promote one.

Is .35 cent fair? Is it worth it and can i live with it? Do the numbers work for my company? Should i start my own with my paysites? Would i be better off using a resellers and intergrating it with my free site to leave more time open to do other things?

Sounds normal to me.

The phone companies get the majority of the $$ for collecting from the surfer alot of surfers will not be able to pay and the phone company eats that also.

There is alot involved..The problem you have to worry about is being shaved..some shave more then others.You have to find the dialer that works best for you....
