Tour de France

i know its only the 3rd stage but lance armstrong is only 16 seconds off the leader, the mountains are his strongest area, good chance he could win his sixth straight. what do you guys think

Sama 07-06-2004 04:15 PM

I hope so! Go Armstrong!

Big respect for Lance Amstrong, he fought against cancer and won and came back stronger than ever...:thumbsup

Don't really follow it, but I think Armstrong has the heart to do it.

yup, since when is watching someone peddling a bike exciting?

and they don't call it Tour de Lance for nothing... he always wins, for like the past 6 years i think... only adds to the excitement... not

cashman 07-06-2004 05:05 PM

That will be something, if he wins again. The French will really hate him then. Go all the way :thumbsup

ZanyCash Larry 07-06-2004 05:06 PM

He is the man. I hope he wins :thumbsup

The comments about the Tour being boring were made by obvious non ethusiasts, but this one is just plain silly.

This tour route was designed to be hard on Lance with the hardest series of mountain stages yet, so obviously Jan has no chance of surviving with a close enough margin to Lance to win back enough time in the final TT. They definitely won't pick up much time on Postal in the team TT so where else is Jan's team going to gain time on Lance?
