Dr. Laura is such a bitch. Right now she's chewing out this guy who's a doctor who can't spend a lot of time with his family. I hate that woman so much!! If she actually had to work a day in her life, she would understand what it's like to have to be gone hours of the day away from your family.

I have to agree... I've heard her talk on the radio and on TV before and she has got someting huge stuck up her ass! On every topic from sex and all kinds of relatoinships to work ethics to differnt kinds of laws......just everything she is a major bitch about! I think she's very close minded and doesn't ever try to put herself in the other person's situation enough to even be understanding about anything!!!

I can't blame you feeling the way you do when your ages are what they are. Laura *IS* very family oriented and more towards the late 60's and 70's as a lifestyle on family.

We do NOT agree with some comments she makes offhanded at all. But she *is* sticking to the guns that D'oh when Momma was at home and raising kids we didn't pack 9mm's as kids. Now the kiddies raise themselves, deal with their own probs from age 6 up. get fed Rambo on TV, worse on their games and no one to tell them different.

You don't have to be under age 35 to see bigotry. You and I differ on certain things unrelated to webmastering (you know I admire you as a vet http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif) and you are entitled to your opinion, of course http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif, but she makes a LIVING out of dividing the public. I agree with some of what she says, as far as families go..being a mother and all. We do need to go back to basics. We've strayed too far as far as families go. But...Gay men and women are to blame? Non-Christians are to blame? Working mothers, who have no choice but to work are to blame? She has...some...good ideas, but, unfortunately, she clouded them with intolerance for different lifestyles and the constitutional right to pursuit of happiness. It may differ from what you or I or anyone else believes in (she still has the right to express her feelings, as we have the right to view our opposition)but, I have a problem with anyone that tries to rally people in a negative manner.

She thinks that her way is right and it is the ONLY way. If she was more humble in her opinions, I , personally, would not have the problem with her like I do. She is, purposefully, trying to exacerbate social differences in our culture for her own benefit. Thank god it didn't work in the end.
I am all for debate on any level, if it is constructive and beneficial. She was inflaming for personal gain, in my humble opinion. But, then again what do I know LOL.
I'm exactly what she hates, so I may be biased...

A teenage mom, who depended on the state to pay her medical bills while birthing her son (although, I felt TERRIBLE about it and have paid it back in taxes 10 fold), I have gay friends that I support in having families (Although, I am honest about telling them about my feeling that I feel it is not the best way to go...what choice to they have to have a family...go straight?) Women staying home and raising their children ( or men for that manner, but not all have the realistic choice to do so)...etc.

She is inflammatory, and that is not neccesarily a bad thing...Martin Luther King Jr. was inflammatory, I just think that her kind of controversy tends to seperate people and perpetuate stereotypes rather than heal and bring people together. I don't hate her...I just wish there wasn't a need or want for people like her.

The thing that really bugged me about her chewing out the doctor was that he was working so much to allow his wife to stay home with the kids. It is almost impossible for one parent to stay home with the kids. Back in the 50's a man could go to work and bring home enough to allow his wife to stay at home. If you look at the value of a dollar now versus then it's crazy. It isn't worth shit.
She also pisses me off with her goth people are bad thing. I was gothic in high school, pulled decent grades and didn't get in serious trouble (I kind of told the assistant principal she could fuck off once, but she was trying to suspend me for something I didn't do and wouldn't let me call my parents).
I guess I just simply don't agree with a lot of the advice she gives.
