Kerry To Announce Running Mate Tomorrow 9 am Pennsylvania time.

Kerry will announce his running mate tomorrow morning. Although speculation says several well known Democrats like Gephardt, Kerry's aides still say it could be a big suprise ( including Hillary Clinton or Al Gore ).

So tomorrow we'll know whom the losing side will put up against Bush.

Gephardt couldn't carry Missouri. That's where he is from.

Far as I recall the law you can be VP for life. Long as you haven't been President for two terms. See, Bush could nominate his dad to run as his VP because he served only 1 term as President.

On the other hand, let's say Kerry picks Gore. Gore could be VP for another 8 years and then run as a Presidential candidate. Or Kerry could pick Gore as a running mate, resign and let Gore have it.

Tricky hunh?

Trixie 07-05-2004 09:53 PM

My sources say Edwards.

I REALLY hope he picks Hillary.

It'll be Edwards (whom everyone with a pulse has been
predicting for 3 months)...

...and then Kerry is done...

unless.........

he walks up to the podium and pulls a swerve that even Vince McMahon would be proud of, where he bends over and pulls Hillary or McCain right out of his ass.

isn't Pennsylvania time the same as EST or DST (for the summer)?

funny to see time referred to by state instead of by zone

kane 07-05-2004 11:06 PM

so how long until bush announces that Chenney is stepping down due to health problems and brings Rudy Giuliani on board?

Lykos 07-05-2004 11:16 PM
