i'm not talking about hitting on the women on the boards, but why do so many people kiss the ass of the industry leaders? do they think that some random millionare is just gonna give them the $50k to start...


i'm not being specific to anyone here, this is just something thats been on my mind for awhile.

nah, i disagree with ya. i love the humor of gfy and i've made a dozen contacts just by havinf a good time on the board. no asskissing involved. most people get to see my personality here, and then i end up doing some biz with them because they can see that i'm not an ass.

Kissing ass is a part of life. Some people have so little skill and knowledge in this biz that they depend heavily on the friendships and connections of others to help them out. In return they kiss any chance they get. I can think of lots of people that kiss ass on this board.

One reaon I left my last brick and mortar job was the incredible ass-kissing contest between all my fellow managers. The new district level manager was one of those "be my friend and you'll get far" morons. So he got what he wanted, and I told them to fuck off, I sell porn now.
