Whats the minimum amount of money someone in this industry should be making?
 

Whats the minimum amount of money someone in adult should make per month? Based on how easy you think it is to make money... assume its the average person, works 50-60 hours a week online, knows the basics at least, has the basic skills. Dont BS about "well it depends" just say what you think the minimum someone should be able to earn in adult is.

Minimum what? There's no minimum. Some people make 0$ and work a lot and some make millions and don't do shit. It's all about how much you're willing to invest and how hard you're working and other shit.

It depends on what the person has stashed away before he enters this biz. If theres a surplus, he/she can make less until the business is developed. I don't know many people that started 1 day and made 2 grand a month immediatly. It takes time to build. I didn't make much for about a year, but now biz has definitly picked up.

At least 3k a month IMO.. at least..

Yeah if you can't make at LEAST 2-3k a month at this and it's a full time gig.. I think you should look into another line of work.

2-3k if your lazy like me and dont have a lot of experience. A lot more if you work hard and know what you're doing.

I just started really getting into this and last month i cleared $60, however i spent about $300 on design, and $400 on a failed google campaign ;-)

So technically im at -$640 BUT! I gained some recurring users so assuming they all dont CB/Cancel i should be getting about $175/month in MRC ;-)

How honest can I be ? ;-)

I'd go with if you can't make atleast $1600 a month then you might as well not work in the business.

Granted new people just starting I wouldn't expect them to earn alot for the first 6-12months.

As for anyone who puts in 60 hours a week and is NOT running a paysite program or shooting content, well...show me what you do for 10 hours a day, six days a week. Surfing GFY doesn't count.

you got to look at the big picture here, u work for someone else
and make say $1.5k - $2k what are your chances of making $2.5k or even $4k+/month next year ? exectly NONE !
but you could be making that kind of money and more doing this!

Why doesnt surfing GFY count? I've made several thousand $ month just by surfing GFY and getting information and contacts.

2-10k is pretty low end....the several 10s of Ks a month and up is the other side...

It is a vague question that deserves the "it depends" answer with a few common sense addons.

Firstly, decide what are your financial needs to survive?

Are you 19 living rent free in "Mom's basement"?
Do you have three ex wives sucking you dry?
Do you have expensive habits and lifestyle?

Each person's living expenses vary widely.


Next do you want to "just survive" each month?
or be able to save/reinvest 10%, or 50% ... of your income?

Those two factors change what your minimum needs to be so there is no one size fits all answer.

Having said that if you cannot at least meet the "just survive" level each month, get out, or get a loan if you can see light at the end of the tunnel. :)
