Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber is just out of this world funny.

WIll was funny in Old School, but the movie Old School was just overall funny, so it wasnt just him.

If you had asked this question 7 years ago, perhaps your response would be entirely different. Jim Carrey isn't exactly on the top of his game, in regard to comedy at the moment. Sunshine of the Spotless mind was a good movie, however it lacked in comedic value. I think:

Would be the better question. I like Will at the moment, however just wanted to make it evident - That Will is very hot at the moment, and Jim hasn't been hot in years.

I like Jim in unscripted interviews better than Will.
They're both "silly".

Jim Carrey is great, but he hit his peak a few years ago. Will Ferrell seems to be still riding his.

adam sandler is a traveling circus, he has most of the same people in all of his movies, it gets old after a while

any two year old can do funny faces & make funny noises....the timing & shit of Will's humor is not nearly as easily replicatable...

Will Ferrell is one of the Kings of ad-libbing along with Sean Williams Scott, Jason Mewes, (Sadly to say it) Ben Affleck, he has creativity and can come up with joke's on the spot, you can tell he's picked that up from stand-up comedy. Jim Carey has to work from a good writer and script other wise he's just a shower of shite.

I haven't found Jom Carrey funny since the days of In Living Colour :(.

well, that would be because ti was a proper film (the best out this year, in my view) that required proper acting. I never really found him funny in his rubber faced days but I do like the direction he is going.
