I think this is a clever idea by Wilson. I don't think the point of the movie is really that "Moore hates America", but rather "look what I can do with all this footage to lead you a certain way".

Essentially he's showing how to make a documentary in the same fashion as Moore, and pointing out that the term "documentary" can be used rather loosely. I think he's just trying to educate people and motivate them to do a little more research before forming a solid opinion on something.

Well, that's what I think at least.

I think that's giving his audience way too much credit. People won't look that deeply.
