Hundreds of thousands of Yankees died to free them, and I never see negroes gather on Veteran's day to say thanks... in fact, I don't see negroes and any Veteran's Day events. They must be too busy doing whatever it is that negroes do.

True. I was recalled right after 9-11 to a base near Wash. D.C. People were putting flags on there cars . There is a big black pop. there, and I noticed there were NO flags on Blacks cars.
It was 3 weeks until I saw a flag on a Blacks car. An older lady then another man. Since then I have noticed NO flags on Black owned cars. None.
Has anyone else around the country noticed this?

veteran's day...??? african americans should celebrate January 1 (the day the emancipation proclamation was issued).

aside from hardcore vets, i dont see black OR white peeps sportin the red white n blue where im at in NY.... the only time i seen that shit im the masses was after 9/11... shit the night of 911 in NY EVERYWHERE i drove by had people with candles out, and the days and monthn a half after, nothing but flags on peoples cars. But pride can be a fad i guess, cuz then they all disappeared like clockwork.

Everyone on my street rode around on our golf carts today and raced each other. One of my old guy neighbors had two flags attached to the top of his cart. He cruised up and down the cul-de-sac and all around everyone's yards most of the day, waving and yelling, "Happy Fourth!"

If I would have known you liked flags so much, I would have taken a pic of him. Maybe he'll be back out tomorrow.
