I've just been flipping through these pages and I really have to say that aprilkorova is a bitch.

Why, here is a lady, 27 years old, with a 10 year old son, and in almost every post, she bitches about teenage webmasters. Well from what I understand, you don't even bring in a majority of the money in your household, and your able to work this occupation because your boyfriend has a stable job himself.

Well I'd like to say that you really need to get your head out of your ass. I'm a teenager, both trying to work a 10 hour a day job, and make some extra money online just to support myself, and hope to bring in enough one day for college. I don't know what it was like for you as a teenager, but seeing how you went to college as a psych major, my guess is that you were supported by your parents. Okay, maybe you were, and maybe you weren't, but damn she acts like she is better than anyone younger than her.

Okay, I have to give her props for raising a son as a teenager as well, but again, I'm assuming that you were supported.

Some people here really do need them money to one day make it in this world. So to single out people because of their age makes you a bitch.

Well I wish I could go to college, but I simply don't have the money. I'm working up to 20 hours a day, and I just think that you should really open your eyes and realize that the online industry opens doors for everyone to make it.

And stop being selfish and acting like we're the ones taking money away from you, because I think that it makes more sense if you flip it the other way around.

I have debated as to whether I was going to respond to this, and, obviously have decided to, although I am not going to resort to name calling and the like.

First of all, you have me very wrong. I have posted over 200 posts and do not remember mentioning teenagers more than a handful of times, so I cannot respond to that. I never meant to insinuate that teenagers are not capable of being good adult webmasters, as a matter of fact I know that there are successful younger webmasters on this board. I simply meant that it is becoming more popular for teens to do this and never have any intention of doing this as a job and therefore don't care what is best for the profession, I have mentioned the same thing about many other groups. It is a certain type of fly by night kind of webmaster that I am referring to that could be any age,

As for my personal life, you are right, I do have a man that has a job...as for all the rest, you are way off. I grew up broke as a joke, I was left at age 16 pregnant with no help. I worked my ass off at 2 jobs as a single mom and went to school full time. My parents helped with watching my son occasionally, that's it. I commend you for working as hard as you do and I know exactly how hard it can be.

I apologize if you thought I was picking on teenagers, that was not my intention and it certainly was never my intention to piss you off or make it seem as if I don't consider you a professional because of your age. I don't care how old you are, if you are serious about what you do I have nothing but good things to say.

I am also guilty of jumping on here in a funky mood and posting unnecessary nasty responses at times. Not something I'm proud of and I can honestly say it doesn't happen often. I don't think you or anyone else is taking money from me, shit, I'm not even making any money for someone to take away LOL.
