so we start off at a nice italian restruant, Jman helps our server open the bottle of wine.... It was hillerious, i heard the manager in the background tell our server that we should be removed, but the server mentioned thatit was a $500 bottle of wine and he backed off right away...lol

Australian, Penfolds the most expensive of them... I myself ain't a top conisseur but I can appreciate the difference in taste from a better then average wine.

As a consumer of the Penfolds fine wine is nice to know here in Aussie you can get the really good ones for $70.00 a bottle and some damn good ones for $20.00

I don't think Bake or I were suggesting it was outrageous - but you wouldn't pay that much for the same bottle here in Australia.

There are far better brands of wine produced here in Australia - if you ever come across a Moorilla or a St Matthias you will see what I mean.

Some of the boutique Merlots from several parts of Australia are hard to beat at any price.

I wasnt just singling out this specific event with the wine, but I always see people talking about how shits so expensive in other threads...


Once you have money, shit like theyre talking seems like nothing really, and im sure most of them like to boast about how "rich" they are, then come bitching about how expensive something is in the 2nd thread down from theres.
