The Portuguese simply couldn't get through the Greek defense. One half chance (Figo) - that's more or less what they had - and the Greeks made their usual goal on a header when the Portuguese goalkeeper totally misjudged a corner kick.

The Portuguese didn't have an attack tonight, it was Scolari's guilt to continue playing with Pauleta and Deco. Figo also did nothing tonight. He didn't introduce Simao Sabrosa and Helder Postiga, or Nuno Gomes and Rui Costa from the start, big mistakes.
