Treating Sun Poisoning
Since all the fucking adult webmaster search engine experts haver ruined google for practical use, I might as well ask here.
How do you treat sun poisoning adequately? My whole neck/shoulders/upper back is a massive patch of blisters, and all I want is so fucking sleep. What do I do to calm this shit down? I'm using SSD Silver Sulfadiazine to keep it from scaring, but it still hurts like a bitch. Searching for "sun poisoning" on google leaves me with nothing by parked domains and porn, so maybe asking the porn webmasters will do it for me. :helpme |

Yeah, searching for "sun blisters" did it for me. :glugglug
This just sucks, though. I can't sleep on my back, and I have to sleep perfectly still, so my whole body is still and fucked up because of it. I know I sound like a whiney bitch, but man, after 3 days of this I can't take much more. :feels-hot |
Don't they have solarcaine where you live? Hit the grocery store and check. It'll make sun burns feel lots better.
|
What's wrong with sun poisoning? That's what it is. The blisters are just a symptom of it.
Sunburns don't blister. They don't make you dizzy or nausous either. At that point, it's sun poisoning. |
I have an Aloe Vera/Lidocaine that I'm using on the rest of the sunburn, but it doesn't do diddly shit on the blistering.

WTF?
I'm not saying sunburns don't exist. I'm saying when a sunburn gets serious to the point its causing actual problems, it becomes sun poisoning. I got a sunburn playing golf 3 weeks ago. I got sun poisoning working on my car in the middle of the day for 2 hours with my shirt off last week. I can't believe you people have never heard of this. |

I know what sunpoisoning is... and I call it that, too :)
http://www.ecureme.com/emyhealth/data/Sun_Poisoning.asp Dude, I'd say the SSD Silver Sulfadiazine you're using is the topmost product (prescription) on the market for severe burns... Otherwise, take care of what you put on your inside... drink LOTS of water, take some ibuprofen for inflammation... (you can take up to 800 milligrams) and get some sun screen. Fyrflygrl |
Keep your temperature down and help the nausea by laying your hands on a bag of ice. You can do the same with ice on your head, but it's easy to rest with a hand on a bag of ice.
It does help I've been in that situation too many times, the sun hates me. |
smear yourself with sour cream
thats my granma's prescription and it always works :) |
I think sun posioning is when you're so sunburned you actually get sick. Throwing up sick..etc...
I've heard of it. To treat your burn, take cool baths. Keep Aloe Vera gel on your burn and put baby powder in your sheets. Drink a ton of water and take tylenol or whatever you take for pain. Solarcaine will take the sting out, but the aloe will help in healing. |
Ummmmm...stay out of the sun. I once had moon poisoning, or something like that.
