Just Got Back from the Van Halen Concert!!
They played at the ACC in Toronto. The show was quit good over all. They did most o the tunes i wanted to hear. Sammy Hager sang as well as i expected. Eddy Was pretty good. Hed did some interesting stuff but his playing didn't really move me.

Is someone replying to posts from the 90s? Van Halen? I'm pretty sure there's some kids on this board that have never heard of Van Halen.
|
I was thinking about seeing them when they come to Vegas, but tickets will probably be $100 cause most concerts are like that here. I saw them in 89 with Sammy, and I saw David Lee Roth by himself a few years back. woohoo. David Lee Roth was just on this 4th of July special on tv tonight. It was quite surprising.

Van Hagar.
They are nothing without Dave. |
It's funny to read all of the 'Van Halen is nothing without Dave' comments. We know that VH has been doing sold out concerts for years without Dave...but, what has Dave been doing without VH? I don't recall hearing alot about him over the years.
Maybe I've missed some press releases? *Disclaimer* I like VH with and without Dave, so this post isn't meant to bash anyone that prefers VH with Dave. :) |
not my type of music but glad you enjoyed it
