democrats afraid of losing again?

fighing to keep Nader off ballots...

members of the house asking the UN to look over elections...

actually, i'm hoping they get all their wishes...
that way, when Bush wins anyway, they'll have nothing left to bitch about.

I just hope the people of florida can follow simple arrows this time, and have been practicing their punching holes in a piece of paper skills this time around.

Maybe they should try to get church rosters and recruit christians to vote.

SuckOnThis 07-03-2004 05:01 PM

Actually they're afraid of Bush stealing another election.

That's what they do in rogue regimes and where there is doubt over elections. Sounds reasonable...

If you're going to use electronic voting machines with no voter-verified paper trail,
then yeah, the UN should monitor the election.

Ignoring that the compay who makes the machines wants Bush to win . . :helpme

I was reading 'Time' or 'Popular Science' or some similar mag in a waiting room recently, and they demonstrated how quicky and easily these boxes could be hacked.

The problems are public knowledge.
Anyone who doesn't care about this is (in GFY lingo) a 'sheep'.

I cannot believe they asked the UN to over look our elections. They think are government is fucked up they should take a look at the corruption in the UN!! But they like the UN so I guess they are allowed to be corrupted!!! :1orglaugh

I'm against electronic voting machines simply because most hackers are democrats.

ironic that democrats are the ones using the hacking excuse.

It doesn't matter what political party you belong to. If you wish to continue living in a democracy, you have to demand that votes can be verified. Be an american first, before you are a democrat or republican or whatever.

The present system is frightening, yet so far there is little protest. :ugone2far
A lot of popular media is covering all this, but the public doesn't care.

Mr.Fiction 07-03-2004 06:08 PM

Hopefully they will have a lot of observers in Florida keeping an eye on Bush's brother.

And maybe the Supreme Court justices appointed by Bush's father and friends will stay out of it this time.

Democrats should not let Bush and his brother and friends in the courts get away with what he got away with last time.

because for starters most of you who are "frightened" are only so because it's how you've been conditioned, they take small minuscule incident and blow completely out of proportion and use words like "disenfranchisement" (a word I'd personally never even heard before the 2000 election) and suddenly the whole election process needs to be revamped.

If you can't get to the polling booths in time, you don't register but show up and want to vote anyway, can't follow straight lines and arrows, or can't punch a hole completely through a piece of paper your vote shouldn't count, because you're a fucking moron.

The sad thing is all these idiot webmasters that want Bush to win. When his boy Johnny starts arresting webmaster s for 2257 they will be the first to cry the loudest. lol Democrats arent pro porn but they know tax payer money can go to better things than forcing their morality on others. Facts are the most Porn prosecutions not CP have been during Republican Admin's .

Well if you had been paying attention you would be aware that justice was ordered by congress to start cracking down.
