Programmers, A question!!!
Is it possible to compile an executable program that utilizes PHP / MySQL, but all on the user's computer without having to connect to the internet?
Has this been done and is it worth doing? I have a site that has a ton of coding, and it would take a long time to build the program from scratch in a different language. Thanks. |
WAY over my head, but in theory wouldn't that mean an actual server or type of psuedo server would have to be running on the users machine to draw the dynamic content.
Again, don't get me wrong I really don't know shit for programing, just basics, but it sounds near impossible. Curious to see if I'm wrong, and if I am wrong and it can be done, then let us pray it's only used for the power of good!~LOL |
I know there was a program ... dat did build a .exe from php ..can't remember if it had mysql support build-in ... and will look if i can find a link to it.
otherwise just include apache and mysql .. en let them install it on their comp :winkwink: |
Ok, after reading it closer I think I was just talking out my ass!~LOL If you're delivering as an excecutable then no reason the server couldn't installed and set to run.
I'll stay out of programming threads from now on, I promise!~LOL |
It's a pieace of piss using Linux mate but as you don't have a clue then why not check it out or pay us guys a lot of money to do it for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
