Why the fuck do people think Firefox is better than IE?
 

Im getting sick to my fucking stomach reading all these biased threads going on and on about how Firefox is a gift from above

Firefox fucking SUCKS. I cannot believe that people who obviously are pretty advanced when it comes to the internet and windows believe that firefox is awesome.

It takes firefox fucking forever to load up, at least 3-4 times as long as IE - and im on a AMD 2700+CPU with 512MB ddr, so dont give me bullshit that its just my shitty PC. Theres been benchmark after benchmark, showing consistently that IE renders pages faster than firefox, loads faster, even renders hahahahahahahahahahas better and faster. Not to mention that the webbrowser control for developers is a dream to work with, unlike mozillas POS gecko.

So tell me, firefox users, are you truly retarded? perhaps you just choose the browser because it makes you feel like rebels (using something other than microsofts clearly superior program) in the little nerdy world you live in? Or perhaps you despise success and will only run firefox because it isnt made by MICRO$HAFT?

I seriously dont get it. If you want an alternative to IE, at least fucking use Opera which is also much faster and better than firefox.

Do yourself a favor you idiots, go get MyIE2. Its fucking amazing. You can have dozens of tabs open, and the browser doesnt get even a bit laggy. I cannot imagine what would happen if i had like even 6 tabs open in firefox, what a POS browser. MyIE2 has mouse gestures, plugins, amazing drag and drop capabilities, loads as fast as IE, popup blocking, neat tabs.. its got it all.

You fucking idiot of course IE loads faster then firefox...explorer is built into the fucking OS. Maybe I like firefox better because I don't have to worry about security holes/flaws as much and I like some of the extras such as tabbed browsing.

I like Firefox because I haven't had ANY spyware at ALL in the past few months.. back when I was using IE, no matter how tight I made my security and zone settings, I would still get infected and reinfected.. etc..

I haven't tried firefox but use Mozilla. For me Mozilla is slow to load up at first but I can't notice much speed difference in page load times.

Some nice tips/tricks for Mozilla users:

well you won't be safe with fire fox either.. mine currently has spyware that I can't get rid of. I get the same spyware pop ups under firefox as I do with IE. So it defiantly has some exploit issues just like IE.

Your spyware could very well have been installed without an exploit, through a software you downloaded or even through IE if you still use it from time to time. As far as I know there are no exploits in Mozilla/Firefox that will let someone install spyware. Have you tried AdAware http://lavasoft.de? If that fails, hit ALT+CTRL+DELETE, and check out what's running in your processlist. Do a search on Google for each one that seems suspicious and see what turns up. :)

yea I've already had the thread about it on here.. it wasn't from a installed program and I've tried just about every spyware tool out there and none have found it..

You probably got that from some software you installed. I surf the web like 12 hrs a day.. everyday and I honestly haven't had any spyware in months. :)

.. and PestPatrol keeps spyware from being installed by other software programs I might download. It has a great always on protection module.

i like ie better, even though it has problems with security. i just like it because i grew up with it, and it gives me that sense of trust.

i think the issue is not that IE is more vulnerable to all those hacks and virusses, its just that it is the most popular browser. if firefox was used by 95% of peeps it would be as disastrous as IE.

and whats this shit all about like, ie loads faster because its intergrated. hell ya, its integrated, who cares, it still is faster.
