Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The
man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet-warrior in the classic
sense. I mean sometimes he'll, uh, well, you'll say hello to
him, right? And he'll just walk right by you, and he won't even
notice you. And suddenly he'll grab you, and he'll throw you in
a corner, and he'll say do you know that if is the middle
word in life? If you can keep your head when all about you are
losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when
all men doubt you -- I mean I'm no, I can't -- I'm a little man, I'm a little
man, he's, he's a great man. I should have been a pair of ragged claws
scuttling across floors of silent seas -- I mean --"

One of the greatest movies of all time. Good one!

I think he has an adopted son or something, who got into shit a few years ago. It was on the news a lot then:2 cents:

The awesome thing about that scene is you know brando commanded that respect on the set for real, and hopper was bombed out of his mind while filming it. :)

Christian Brando is the son! he also has a daughter Chyenne!

Great actor but very wierd personally!

chodadog 07-02-2004 10:42 AM

This timing is so weird. The area i live in, all the streets are named after stars. I used to live on Brando street. Currently live on Karloff Drive. Was talking to a cabby today about Marlin Brando and he asked if he was still alive. Get home, and bam, he's dead. Weird.

XBizLori 07-02-2004 10:48 AM

He was a great actor, a controversial and 'different' man, stood up for what he believe in even if it was off center.

And...he had plenty of ladies and lived on his own island for years....

But The Godfather will live forever

Monique Niccole 07-02-2004 11:08 AM

his daughter committed suicide a while ago and his son is in prison (attempted murder I think)

pimplink 07-03-2004 03:16 AM

Whatever you say, all Iknow is he's a good actor and the show business owes him a lot.

marcu5 07-03-2004 03:25 AM

I disagree, his funeral is going to be huge.. and not open to the public.

webmaster x 07-03-2004 04:06 AM

Let's not argue what he was or what he was not, let him take his final rest and let's just pay some respect.

Face (o_0) 07-03-2004 04:15 AM

yea, i dont think friends and family do that... not for actors anyways

Murder actually, not attempted. He killed the lover of his sister in 1990 I think and Marlon Brando went broke while trying to defend him, since there seemed to be a 3rd person involved but it was never proved.

RIP

Me either... he could have sold that sprawling extate, bought a nice place and have enough to live well on whatever time an 80 year old man has left.
