Allowing access to a page based on referring URL?

Anyone know how I can limit access to a page based on referring URL?

Basic I only want this page to load when linked from my home page, not from other pages on the web. All other referring URLs I'd like to redirect to my home page.

htaccess - but be careful it is very easy to bypass this kind of security.

i havent found a problem yet. it checks file and referring domain
