Its crazy but true. This tournament has made it clear that some players have to play way to much matches in a season. All the countries with tough competitions are out of the tournament. Nobody can play 60/70 matches on a high level

I felt sorry for netherlands and czechs.. but not for the rest
germany: they had only a player, balack, the rest were 0
italy : shitty games... they just need a better team / coach

World Cup and regional tournaments such as Euro 2004 or CopaAmerica meant something in the past..and now they lost a little importance. To win Euro 2004 should be far more important for the players than winning the Champions League, but for many i suppose it is the opposite.

And take a look at the Champions League - it is fucked up to. It used to be a real "Chapions League" where national tournament winners competed against each other. But nowadays 4 teams from Germany or Italy play in it each year.
