damn spy ware

I've got some type of spyware... I didn't install shit on my own it used some sort of web exploit even though I have active X disabled..

but my browser will go to ://likesurfing.com/search/search.php?qq=spyware

A page that is a basic copy of MSN search, even with their logo.. another page that pops up is ://www.casinopalazzo.com/index.php?sourceid=102174

any one have any Idea how to get rid of this? I've tried to typical spy ware programs and they can't find it. I'd also like any information on the following programs..

anyone have any ties to any of these programs? I want to get the fuckers accounts pulled.

Casinopalazzo.com
marketingfind.com
free-spyware-scan.com
networkdynamicscorp.com (eblocs)
palsol.com
errornuker.com
pctools.com
nuker.com
secureie.com
spykiller.com
zerospyware.com
spywarebegone.com

When I play the game fair and have to bust my ass to make money, I'm damn sure going to fuck any dick head that decides to cheat specially when it affects me.

I had some nasty shit on my computer yesterday, adaware, search and destroy did nothing.

Try a program called Spy Sweeper, it's free and got rid of a lot.
BTW that shredder program did dick for me.

if they are 404 chances are your host file is fucked

take a look there and delete any entries that are trying to re-direct those sites so you can get to them

your hosts file is at

windows\system32\drivers\etc\ (usually)

you can make your host file just this line:

127.0.0.1 localhost

Bansheelinks 07-02-2004 07:07 AM

Spyware Nuker helped me clean up a computer. It also finds trojans. You may have to buy it to clean your system but if you have patience, you can clean it up manually with the problem/location/filename that it gives you.

now this is some shit... I can expect it to hijack IE but I also D/Led Firefox a few days ago.. So I've been using it a little more and more.. well it has the same damn crap going on. Every so often, like several hours the casino pop ups and all the damn favorites are reloaded..

That sounds like a Windows Messenger Service issue. (might have more shit there too however), to disable windows messenger service: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...opspamv45.mspx

Yes you did. Pay attention to titlebars on windows...Security Warning is not a site
popup it's part of WindowsXX and it's trying to protect you.

Casino Palazzo overwrites c:\program files\windows media player\wmplayer.exe
Didn't you notice your WMP doesn't work right?

Nuke wmplayer.exe
run cwshredder (Google the mother fucker for christs sake)
Go here and "Scan my PC"
http://www.pandasoftware.com/actives..._principal.htm
click Yes to any Security Warning popups there.

For your viewing pleasure this is what a Security Warning window looks like...

http://www.lsnetworks.com/images/Ad%...%20Warning.jpg

...You only click Yes to those motherfuckers if you know exactly where
you are, like Windows Update, Panda Scan, Yahoo Games, and other obviously
trusted sites. Security Warning means the site is trying to install something on
your hard drive...pay attention to it.

chowda 07-02-2004 10:32 PM

riosluts 07-02-2004 10:40 PM

when I said I didn't install anything I ment I didn't click "ok" on anything (I'm a lot smater than that) or add any new programs.. This was done with an exploit from a scumbag gallery cheater. I'm already running Panda internet securty on my PC but it can't seem to find it. I'll give the other stuff a try when I get back today, thanks for the info.
