do linklists mind

when you change their crappy links into something much better looking but keep the same text

Sly_RJ 07-02-2004 05:23 AM

They usually won't care as long as the same primary principles are applied. Go for it.

If you mean something like this http://www.jeroenfrans.com/hot_nylon_chicks/ then they don't mind.

Paparazzi 07-02-2004 05:53 AM

go for it :)

these are the kinds of responses that scare me

you just can't build a decent site around some recips. and they all use different sizes. it's a constant contest to see who can have the ugliest colors. what takes a visitor OUT of a buying mood more than a rag tag looking advertisement?

Tuna 07-02-2004 05:56 AM

not that i have noticed

DarkJedi 07-02-2004 05:58 AM

dont think they mind as long as the text link stays the same

I agree 100%

Most of us really wouldn't mind at all.

for me I keep them as they are when submitting freesites. See if they list you, not like they will ban you if you keep the text as it is

dgraf 07-02-2004 06:06 AM

You have to do a little polishing often. E.g. one of the biggest players on this field still has missing </table> tag at the end of its reciprocal code. Be sure it may hurt your page design a lot :)

Jay had his missing for a while. I mentioned it to him but not sure if he ever got it fixed.

I wouldn't think so..
