Website Fights Back At "Fahrenheit 911"
http://fahrenheit_fact.blogspot.com/
This website called 'Fahrenheit Fact' was put up to fight back at Michael Moore's facts in his film. It's worth a looksee. |
Good read.

Why are these websites which dispute the stuff moore says so fucking boring?
If they actually made it interesting people might read them. |
and if the movie was pro-bush you would have the other side doing the same thing, pointing out this and that. i think its all quite funny.
i think people are scared by the truth. |
I swear, I think Michael Moore plays everything close to the line in his movies so people will spend hours debating each and every nuance. He's a genius. It's like when people used to buy Beatles Albums and then look for clues on the album covers and in the songs, even playing them backwards, for signs that Paul was dead. Michael Moore is the walrus.

some interesting comments there :thumbsup

As I stated in my critique of the film...Moore twisted facts and used innuendo to the point of making his film BS...or as stated by someone else...not a documentary but a Michael-mentary.

I think Moore did a good job with the movie. He made a movie all Liberals will enjoy, and he also roped the die hard Republicans in.. since they feel they have to see it and "disprove" it. :1orglaugh It's fun watching the Republican's nitpick the little things and yet they all seem to steer away from the basic premise of the movie. That being, that Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11, and that that Bush botched the operation in Afghanistan, let him get away and then used it for an excuse to invade Iraq on extremely tenuous evidence at best. |
Lots of maybe's and he said this, but she said that, Nearlys, Probablys, Possiblys and "according to so and so".
Not many actual "verifiable" facts either way there though. It's funny how Moore can get people's backs up like this :-) He is genius. Fat ass genius, but genius nonetheless. |
Interesting! Thanks for the link

i think it's awesome that moore made a movie looking into the events of the day. it is important to do. the problem is when you are totally misleading in movies like this and bowling, and present your film as a documentary. documentaries are based on fact, not conspiracy theories and speculation from f list authors. the vast majority, we're talking overwhelming majority, is going to just accept what they saw and run with it. there should be a disclaimer at the beginning of the film. nobody (the majority of the people who will see that film) seems to understand that moore has his own agenda in the same exact way bush has his.
at least with bush or kerry, if something is bullshit, there are thousands of news networks and newspapers to jump on it. moore isn't under the same light, and that is dangerous. sorry to drudge on... but the same people who say bush botched enduring freedom are the same people who say he is a puppet to his cabinet. from a military standpoint, afghanistan was a lose / lose. however if a "proper" force HAD been amassed... well consider the implications had the opposition been given more time to prepare. in the same way we make mistakes in business, it was an important mistake to be made. subsequently, iraq was taken in two weeks. let's not forget that whether or not it was personal agenda, a tyrant was ousted. |
facts = BUSH IS A LIAR
