Partnerships are such a hassle. You always feel short changed and they always feel short changed at the same time. IMO, avoid partnerships at all costs unless it's a strict financial relationship or something that can't be screwed up by a slacker.

Honesty Man! be Upfront! Communication is the only way! If you don't let it be known that you have a problem it can just get worse. When a small fire starts, extinguish it ASAP or it will eventually get out of hand!

hope your sort it out, i went in a partnership once with a family member and it was hard to break it up for guilt reasons, but once it was out in the open was a big weight off my shoulders.

What's the reason? He contradicts what you say? He doesn't pull his weight with work? Are you making decisions and putting them to action by yourself? Do you wait for their accord when making decisions?

Like I said, it all depends. Generally, if they are ganging up on you, there are either better ties between them or he's a better leader & manages to cajole them into retaliating. If his tactic is to lie and blatantly bullshit - then give him his share and have him run along unless he's absolutely needed.

For any other little spats, just get it all out on the open - tell them you don't appreciate their little gangbangs towards you - let them know it's a business and must be run in that fashion. Their input & decisions have to be their own and unbiased - not a consortium of the three amigos.

well the problem is personality. we jsut dont get along and we dont understand each other.

we would end up in argumentts. little things, big things. just arguments because our personality are at different extremes

partners.. bad idea imho. they complicate things too much.

i always try to work alone.
you know what to expect and who to blame.

Buy them out or sell out. But it seems you are the majority then its your call if you want to stay or be bought out. Yes they can team up on you if they put their votes together.

Partnerships isnt a good way to go for most people.

Tuna 07-02-2004 04:46 PM

i had a similar problem with a partner recently and decided to sell my half.

pornstar2pac 07-02-2004 04:50 PM

I sold my half of a partnership once because I couldn't stand working with him. I am so glad I did.

WWC-Moe B. 07-02-2004 04:54 PM

Sell you % to them and get out!!! before it's to late...

With bad attitude and NO respect, you and your partners might end up destroying the business and then there would be no value to it and you will end up closing it down... So sell your share and leave...

Good Luck and let us know the outcome
