How to protect pics?
 

I asked my server to send me the htaccess to keep people from hotlinking my pics and he sent me this.

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.mysite.com/ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://mysite.com/ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://my IP/ [NC]

RewriteRule /* http://www.mysite.com/ [R,L]

I don't understand it. I can't even link to my own pics. It just sends me to my index page.

Will someone pleeeaaaasssseeee post the htaccess that will do the job? I would greatly appreciate it.

How about htaccess coding to block out a certain state? Our host techs said it can be done that way but couldn't figure it out on apache.org. And netpond is useless since the script for the bbs is trashed and no one can post hardly. We have tried several times but they haven't gotten it fixed yet. Wheres Mike when ya need him?
