Question for everyone...
By this time each week do you have issues with your eyes? Like shit isnt focusing right, general irritation?
How do you deal with it? Ive had this issue for years now with the pc, but I am starting to get tired of it.... For instance... I just looked up at the tv and my eyes bugged out... Now mind you if I spend all weekend off the pc I have 20/20 vison and no issues... So its certainly from the pc... |
Dr.Booty wants you to limit your computer time
|

Headless, do you have a CRT or an LCD? When I stopped with the huge CRT my eyes got alot better.
Also, try to rearrange your room lighting. |

uh.....well......mmmm.......I think carpal tunnel syndrome (you spelled it correctly) is basically a *correction* nerve problem you acquire from use of your mouse & keyboard for extended periods of time - over time (years) - http://www.aboutcts.com/carpal_tunnel.html Taken from that page: There are 8 small bones in the wrist called the ?carpal bones?. These bones form the base of the carpal tunnel. A ligament called the Flexor Retinaculum, also known as the Transverse Carpal Ligament, forms the roof of the tunnel, commonly called ?the bridge?. Lay the back of your hand on a table, as you look at this graphic: Through the small carpal tunnel passes the nine flexor tendons, along with the median nerve. Any pressure exerted onto this area will squeeze the median nerve causing pain, and numbness to the hand and wrist. For example: repetitive wrist or hand motions, such as working at a computer terminal; playing a musical instrument, sports, or even knitting, will cause swelling in the carpal tunnel. |
Well, try rearranging your lights. Make sure theres no bare bulbs in your light of sight. Also, more sleep.
Probably lots of googleable sites on good room lighting for computer users. |
Take some time off from your pc. Take good care of you eyes, dude, you lose the sight, you lose everything.

I have glasses because I can't wear contacts and the screen gets to me after a while too... I just take short breaks from it. (Even a few minutes help).

Its been stated already... but better lighting around your work area.
Take more breaks. and watching TV or any other type of monitor is not a break. Less masturbation, I hear too much causes eye problems |
crt is what does it, break down and get a real monitor!
