I can not believe there are so many dumbasses that post the wrong URL from Lightining free. The only 404s I get are on there. Great FREE server, but it seems I get all my amateur post from there. Getting rather tired of rejecting people.

Are you sure they're posting the wrong
url and the host isn't forcing people to see their 404 page (in order to make money)

I thought i read a thread about a free host doing that.

Lightining is one of the most stand up guys around, I doubt seriously that he's 404ing people just to make a fast buck!!!

Write Lightening, they were having problems with the server that occassionally the 404 errors popped up, even if you input the correct address.

I'm not sure what his status is on fixing the problem, but I do know he is working on it.

Lightning had all the problems worked out unless some new one just popped up. We haven't had any 404's while testing several hundred pages/files there. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

No, it is not lightinings server, I get pleanty of post that work fine on lightining free. And when it was giving me the 404 error crap, I could always go back and click the link and it would come up, these 404s are coming up a few times only because some people don't know how to link the thumbs to the large pictures, or they just don't give the correct url when they post.
I would say out of 100 galleries checked, I get an average of 3 that are 404 errors, and usually they are on lightiningfree.
Then I also have to reject a few others due to them posting under the wrong catagory. I have one person that keeps posting SCAT under the Butt catagory, sure, it has something to do with the ass, but it does not belong under butts. lol. I reject the galleries over and over and everyday, they post another one. I really don't know who could get into that kind of stuff, but, there are those that do. Those galleries have to be one of the worst that I have to check.
