Is it legal to run Passwordz sites?

Well, is it?
I mean those real sites with working passwords, not all fake CJ sites.
I cant understand how it can be legal if it is. :helpme

smart way to work yourself into a message board full of people who lose money because of sites like that..admit to running one.

er....... immediate termination from most sponsors is all you will get if they have a good fraud watchdog.

polish_aristocrat 07-01-2004 04:20 PM

Running a REAL password site is certainly NOT legal, it's fraud, but most of those sites just list passes they get from webmasters for advertising purposes...pass dies after a few minutes and the redirect goes to the tour or the site is no real paysite, just a few galleries with loads of ads :winkwink:

Sounds like alot of work to try and convert traffic that was looking to steal it in the first place.

Hmm.. But take passwordhq.com for example, his site is hosted on National-Net.
And it seem to me like he is linking with real working passes.
Alot of the links are ref. links but some of the sites could be and probably is small paysites.
I would not take much to get it shut down from National-net if they where doing something illegal.

yes, but you can sell it or use it as feeder traffic. :2 cents:

I tried one, there were 2 pictures in the "member area"...
I think all are fake and they use the banners to make some money.
