I have tons of them. One of my favorites is the woman that phoned up to say that her husband just died 3 days ago and she was going through all the finances and noticed the charge. She said that she did not believe a good man like her husband would sign up to some porn site but even if he did, he would have cancelled the subscription before it went to a full monthly membership but he died so he couldn't. She had no money, her children were going hungry and she did not know how she was going to feed them. She thought that it was illegal to charge a dead man for not cancelling a subscription and she fully expected a complete refund.
I didn't believe her because she did not sound sad about her husband at all and if my husband just died I could think of a lot of other things I would need to do (like bury him) other than get a refund. I told her that I was very sorry to hear of her circumstances but there was nothing I could do.
About an hour later a man calls telling me he had a trial membership that he forgot to cancel. He asked if he could get a refund because "if my wife finds out she is going to kill me". My reply? I believe she already has, she reported you dead an hour ago" His reply? He laughed and said "she didn't"...I replied "yep she did, you died three days ago, left her penniless and your children are going hungry" He replied "Uhm, oh, well, lets just forget about the refund, just make sure to cancel me so I'm not billed again, sorry about that"
