back in 1996 i was into listening only to goth music and not much else. i was chastised because every programmer is only supposed to listen to electronica. (which nowadays is a large part of my music collection)

It's an old Ring King cabinet. It has a 20" TV and an athlon 1.4Ghz machine with 1GB ram, and 120GB storage. I have about 150 bazillion games on it.

Yeah, they are... although I do prefer stuff like Covenant, Funker Vogt, VNV Nation, :wumpscut:, Assemblage 23, etc while coding.

Yah i went threw that phase programming around 1995 to 1997

Yeah, went through the same thing, Ministry, Front 242, etc. Wasn't all techno though. Listened to Prong, Helmet, Skatenigs, Butthole Surfers too :)

I'll let you in on a little secret. This past week I listened almost entirely to country music while I encoded DVD's. The odd thing is that I am not, nor have I ever been a country music fan...this is an entirely new thing for me. Sort of scary, contemplating calling a therapist to see what is up.
