SE Gurus.. I need advice
 

Hey guys I have been working on getting nice pr ratings on some sites of mine i have a few that are pr 5 and about 60 that are pr4 (blogs) what are your suggestions for good se rankings?

No SE expert is gonna share their own secrets. :2 cents: :1orglaugh

To keep your links relevant to the topic being discussed. Random linking from blogs will get you the PR but not necessarily the great rankings in the SERP's. Theming is important, otherwise, on site SEO is the other big factor depending on which engine you're targetting.

Trying to get a good listing on google. all the links that are on that blog are mine that I have linked together. there are around 60 or so averaging from pr3 to pr5 mostly pr4

You should really host your own blogs...I know the pr is already there....so just keep those up, but I'd mirror them on your own domain....use subfolders for each of them with the root linking to each....

pr5 is pretty good...blogs seem to do well. I notice your pr5 blog doesn't have too many entries.....update it more often and I bet you will see more traffic.....can't guarantee higher pr....but more traffic to each page for sure....

This script I use is a freebie from another board. It's a great script actually. It generates new html pages for each entry and then links to them from the index page (under archives) using the entry titles (good for keyword phrases)

It's an easy script to set up and customize. If you are interested in it shoot me an email and I'll give you the details. :)

ummm, they are all coming up for me . . . we recently changed servers, maybe it hasn't resolved for you?

What pages besides site map aren't working for you?

Everything in the main menu and everything under the tutorials isn't coming up...and possibly more....I saw a few scattered pages that were working though...

The server is acting reeeeeeeeally slow now though...

oh, and I see the header, footer and sides of the pages...just not the actual content (ie: articles, tutorials etc)

Well, if it's on the same server as your sig image than I think it's safe to say it's a server issue. :winkwink:

woah! spoke too soon...lmao....image was broken...but looks fine now...lol

speed is MUCH better now.....still has the blank pages though...

no, different company, different server . . . .and everything is loading fine for me now
