I can't beleive why "Ladies Night" at clubs is not considered illegal.
 

I hate it when they let the girls have free drinks and enter the clubs free. This is reverse discrimination and IMO should be banned.

I had this argument with some chick a couple weeks ago; and she did shut me up with one statement...statistically, women make 20% less money for the same amount of work then men; so why doesn't everything cost 20% less for women? Free entrance to the clubs is pretty much the only thing they get...

I suppose you'd put me in the category of semi-traditionalist; I believ in honoring and loving my woman. I do not cheat. I believe in being expressive and I believe in honesty in a relationship.

Beyond all that crap, however, I'm generally pissed off about the whole situation. I do not intend to pay for dinner right out of the gate. You should take your half. You ate the fuckin food, pay for it. I will not buy random women drinks. Friends and the female that I invited to the bar, sure. If I offer to do a shot with a girl, yeah, I'll buy - but thats cuz I offered. Free this and free that is bullshit. Over the years I have known many a chick who goes out without ANYTHING besides her ID. And she comes home drunk. She didnt want a guy - she wanted liquor. That sucks.

It's illegal here because you can't give ANY alcohol away to anyone. This includes "happy hour" as well. They are more lenient on happy hour but ladies night etc. is a no-no-go-to-jail. :(

umm you do realize that the whole point of them getting in free and driking free is so they get drunk and easy to pick up? Would you rather have to fork out the money to buy them drinks aswell?

I disagree. Bar owners shouldn't discriminate based on genders or whatever. They can give free drink and free entrance before a certain time or on some days if they want to but for both men and women, not just women.

Okay. What about stores that offer discounts on "for her" items as special promotions and sales? Lots of businesses out there cater to men or women specifically with their sales and discounts etc.

As someone else pointed out, many bars also have "guys night out" where men get the discounts. What about Valentines day? Lot's of nightclubs offer a free rose to the ladies..... does that get your panties in a bunch too?
