NT, advantage for non porn site???

hi
hope this is not off topic but i'm getting ready to do some non porn sites that will need store fronts the nt hype seems to go in the direction that everything will work great with windows programs office, access, word, excel, is it sales hype or true my porn site is on a unix server and it runs fine but if i ftp or http with front page it will delete my password files i need something that will require less support with several sites running as i cannot work on a unix server yet i'm wondering if a NT server will be easier, but i have heard that they are not as stable as a unix server
thanks for any replys or tell me to go fuck myself

bcric well I don't know about NT but the window2000 server seems mighty stable. I have been doing some testing on one here the last week. and even though I have not tried FP, everything seems to be holding true.

the real test will come late next week when I run some TGP traffic thru it.

I prefer Linux, FreeBSD or any other *nix. Never hosted my non-adult sites with windows servers, but with *nix you can have PHP, MySQL and other yummy resources. (better than ASP and MS SQL)

UNix Bsed will beat any NT system

But if you have any problems with NT server the most Crucial Thing to KNow is make sure you have Plenty of ram i mean Near 1 gig
