AP Changes Its Tune
 

After rereading all the wire stories concerning COPA today, it looks like AP reworded the nasty comment made about the adult industry. For those that didn't read, AP had called us porngraphers that peddle smut to children yesterday. A large group of webmasters protested and AP changed its wording today!

The opening paragraph now reads:

The Supreme Court blocked a law meant to shield Web-surfing children from dirty pictures and online come-ons, ruling that the law also would cramp the free speech rights of adults to see and buy what they want on the Internet.

It was changed after you sent your comments to them :thumbsup

It was Armed & Hammered that proposed the idea!

yup all over the news last night the wording was as follows:

"The SP is holding the rights of the smut peddelers who pander to children over the rights of our children and thats just dead wrong"

Another funny ass all be it sad comment was this:

"It realy doesn't matter seeign as over 48% of all online porn comes from overseas"

huh? i know of a shit load of ppl here in the states with sites and all but i guess were just a small number lol

Headline news was way way worse though.
While the reporter spoke about the story, they show a computer screen where someone is on a newsgroup and part of the newsgroup name was pre-teen :321GFY fuckers
