GFY should have a "for sale" section
 

People would sell there domains, existing TGP's, paysites or email lists.
People generally interested in buying would have easier to find the sites that are currently for sale, and sellers would know that on that forum that have more chances to find webmasters interested in buying. :2 cents:

a general "Classifieds" area would be nice. For people selling sites, computer parts, services.. etc

I think it was suggested before, but never happened.. It would make things a lot nicer when trying to sell something, would also make it easier for buyers.

the first step for this is start such threads
in "Webmaster " part of this board .
At least there is not too many posts and all
will be able to see the auctions.
So, when you start your "domain for sale"
, just post a link to the actual thread in Webmasters area.

May be, after that , Lens will open dedicated place for this.

probably a politics/news section too. In the last week there has probably been 100 f911 threads. Thats making biz threads disapear quick.

I think it would be very good from a business standpoint, but I doubt Lens wants to split the board down and move too much discussion from the obviously hugely active general section.

Good idea, and Lens could even create his own auction section and take 1-5% off the top. He's smart though and would've done this a long time ago if he wanted to.

Not really, that's the way it should be now that GFY's so big. You should atleast need 500 Post-1,000 post or be a member for a certain amount of time.
