Wasnt great but it wasnt bad either. It had some funny parts. If you didnt see it in theaters dont worry about getting it on dvd. Rent it at the most.

Glad someone spoke up, one movie im not going to see. .lol

It's a kids movie... expect to see a kids movie and it's a good movie. Expect to see an adult movie and you'll think it was the worst thing you ever saw.

I've seen the movie and I think it's pretty good. Nice ghost effects.

I saw it when it firts came out. and it was a pretty good movie, but keep in mind its a Kids movie

As a huge fan of Disney Legacy, take some time to learn the back-story of the Haunted Mansion theme park ride (and it's various incarnations around the world at the different parks). It, like Pirates of the Caribbean, will greatly tie things together for you. There's a website called Hidden Mickey's that has a ton of info on the parks. Actually, the main basis of the site is to point out "hidden mickey mouse" symbols you can find throughout the parks... if you know where to look and have a keen eye :)

But to the original question, again, it helps to know the story of the ride before you see the movie...

I enjoyed it and my kids absolutely loved it (hey, it's a kid's movie for fuck's sake)

Dont expect much its a family movie after all
