Best way to view html source?
frontpage, etc always chops up the source when importing it. What is the best free way to view a websites/weboage source?
|
Format c:\
|
Notepad :thumbsup
|
right click and "view source"
then format c: |
ruight click and view source chops it up as much as importing it through frontpage or other means does.

First, go out and buy a p5 12.6Ghz computer with 36 gigs of ram and five 10 terabyte hard drives.
Then install Windows Quantum Holography Level 6 edition with service pack 38. While installing, make sure that it has Notepad checked off. That should do it for ya :glugglug |
So load it into your html editor and strip tabs or leading or trailing spaces. Lots of editors have a "beautify" option as well, which will do auto-indents with tabs or spaces to your specs.
Sounds like you need a better editor, not a better way to view source.. But if you want another option, go to File, then Save as.. |
define how notepad "chops up" source code? If it was written sloppily it will view source as sloppy! I'd imagine everyone here uses notepad on a regular basis to view code.... i guess i don't get what you're wanting?

I would upgrade to a 20.4 Ghz processor. 36 gigs of RAM is enough for the average person.. but I run 15800 programs at the same time so I go with 72 gigs of RAM Cant beat Windows Quantum Holography Level 6 edition though.. |
