While I liked Ringu (the japanese version) a bit more, the American version wasn't bad at all
I hope the wave of Japanese horror movies getting Americanized versions will get people to actually check out the original movies.
The new trailer for The Grudge looks damn good, but i'tll be extremely hard to top the Japanese original, which really creeped me the fuck out.
A Japanese movie I wouldn't mind seeing an American version of that will most likely never happen is Battle Royale.Comment
