Why is it okay to say FUCK YOU on the Senate floor, but not on radio?

It's a bit ironic, I'd say

crockett 06-29-2004 02:54 PM

because they are special..

gotta love how Ironic it is that people like Howard Stern get fines thousands of dollars if not more and someone in govt can get away with it for free.

how many kids are listening to the goings on on the senate floor when it's not in session?

Sly_RJ 06-29-2004 02:58 PM

It's not OK. I did hear something about Cheney being fined but I'm not sure what came about after that.

Senate floor meetings and such are broadcasted, therefore FCC regulations were violated.

Doesn't matter. Kids shouldn't be listening to Stern either. It's a regulation.

Or they "think" they are special :winkwink:

The truth is these asshole politicians are no different to street drug traders in "real life" language. Ya listened to eg Nixon and Kissenger chatting on tapes?? They were little more than conspirators planning crimes in language that matches Cheney.

All politicians (almost) are "closet faces" - the real person is rarely shown in a public face. Perhaps thats whey I keep thinking they are lying when they do speak :winkwink:

Fuck isn't even a word anymore, its a comma.

That is sweet. "Stern And Cheney" has a nice ring to it.

He got away with it without much heat. I think Politicians fear him :feels-hot

pimplink 06-29-2004 09:33 PM

It should not be allowed either on the senate floor or on the radio.
