If you can't do the one pixel graphic bit to find his IP, then you deseve to pay the $120.

There are a ton of things that could foil your attempt and endup with no answer, but have at it.

How excactly did he receive the money?
With CC you can charge back.
With paypal you can charge back.
With Western Union you can file a fraud complaint.
Wth a bank transfer you have all his details.
If you send a check you have all his details.
If you received any mails from him before, you will have his IP and his mailservers IP in the header from the E-mail.

Heres an easy way to get his i.p.

Just send him an email with a picture from your web server example img = this-gif-doesnt-exist.gif in html format..

Then read your error logs for the ip. Very simple

just send him an email and get him to reply and then get it out the headers

like send one saying you wanna hire him or something...

I find sometimes if you pretend to be foreign and or realy stupid people reply like if hes a designer do like:

"hello I would like for you make websites for me, with price please reply thanks bye"
