Evereyone Email the Associated Press
Email [email protected]
Correct them on their statement "The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a law meant to punish pornographers who peddle dirty pictures to Web-surfing kids is probably an unconstitutional muzzle on free speech." I don't think ANY of us are peddling porn to kids and that isn't who the law is meant for. If they get a few hundred emails in an hour or so, that might make them set the record straight. |
I thought the press was supposed to be liberal leftist.
98% of poeple who work in the press are just a bunch of idiots :2 cents: |
just sent them this lol
I myself am an adult webmaster and you are saying that us " porn peddlers " are pushing porn to kids who are surfing the web ? HOLD UP ONE MINUTE ! We DO NOT advertise our sites ANYWHERE a kid cna get to when searching for " pokemon" or whatever else a kid may be searching for. They find our sites when they are LOOKING FOR adult site's. We filter out our traffic extremly well and if we notice in our server stats that we are getting keywords for Children topics we FIX IT. We DO NOT advertise to kids .... Why would we want to advertise for kids? We make money when the surfer BUYS something not when they just look at our site's. So what good would a kid do on our site ? Are you guys that freakin dence? A kid WONT pay for our sites. It is the ADULTS who do. basicly , if a kid lands on a porn site HE WAS LOOKING FOR IT . WAKE UP ... KIDS LOOK FOR PORN ... WE CAN NOT STOP THEM. IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR PORN THE PROBLEM IS AT HOME NOT ON THE NET. WHERE ARE THERE PARENTS ? WHY DONT THE PARENTS GET PROTECTION FROM THIS ? WONDER WHAT IS GOING ON AT HOME TO MAKE A YOUNG KID GO LOOK FOR PORN BLAME THE PARENTS NOT THE WEBMASTERS. Have a great day and correct your articals. |
Remind them of this fact:
Plaintiffs in the COPA case include the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression, Salon.com, ObGyn.net, Philadelphia Gay News and the Internet Content Coalition. http://news.com.com/2100-1028-991477.html The American Booksellers are smut peddlers? |

3 paragraph email sent!

Dont forget to add that a users browser REQUESTS pages from webservers. It's not only terminology, it's an extremely accurate description of how the internet literally works.
They should understand literacy. |
like they would care. They are only in it for the headlines.. News is nothing more than a sales pitch just like porn is.
They are going to use headline that will get the most clicks, just like we would. You think they would get as much activity from an add like this? "The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a law meant to punish pornographers who sell pornographic pictures to Web-surfing Adults is probably an unconstitutional muzzle on free speech." probally not as much as if they are trying to protect the children from the evil doers. |

Don't you understand, they want to sell newspapers. Got to create controversy to do that.
Go read the National Enquirer or The Star and what they say about celebs. Same thing. |
On the flip side of the coin, you can't be in this business and be a hypocrite and think there aren't a lot of teen guys 13 to 18 surfing TGP sites like crazy for free entertainment just like in our days we went looking for our father's Playboy collection.
