arggghh this sun burn kills

Anyone have any home made remedies for a killer sun burn? I'm already using aloe with lidocaine but I need something better. I swear I saw a post a while ago on using some house hold product to relieve the pain. Anyone know what it is? I'm an idiot for playing golf in the AZ sun with no SPF.

I got fucking owned 2 years ago with the sun.

The side of my stomach actually turned into a sort of yellow jelly type thing.

Sore and not nice to look at to say the least...

loads of after sun..cools down the skin and "feeds" it so to speak
A few shots of whiskey might help also :glugglug

Make some peppermint or spearmint tea and cool it down (cold even) and apply it to the sunburn.

That's an old wives remedy but DO NOT DO IT. It's very bad for the burn and could cause tissue damage. Even though it may feel better, it traps in the heat which is exactly what you're trying to let out.

You need to bring out the heat, I'll usually use cold cloths on the burnt area. It feels great while it's cold and wet, plus it helps draw out the heat. It's a win-win and MUCH better than using butter or similar products.

For severe burns of any kind including sun burns , piss on it :) preferably your own urine

For sun burn, smear yourself in sour cream :) oh yah baby!
