Online pharmacies: Soon to be illegal?

Your thoughts?

Hustlin Entertainment 06-29-2004 04:02 AM

Easy people will do what they have been doing for years
and stopping them to no avail, move ops to a country where it's legal or don't give a rat's ass.
Make sense? Why yes it does, I'm a genius.

Wouldn't US mail/Customs become an issue?

Hustlin Entertainment 06-29-2004 04:04 AM

They can't seize everything now can they?

Napolean 06-29-2004 04:29 AM

street pharmacy's are always cheaper anyways, and you dont even need to fill out one of those little surveys for them either :winkwink:

In the US? probably... but 99% of the online pharmacies are run from overseas.

Mefo 06-29-2004 05:11 AM

I bet it's hard to track them

exactly, the big players will have the resources to take everything overseas including themselves and still run with it

yep, I tried looking for my meds on line and found one place that was in Cdn. the pills where .05 cheaper, but after shipping they cost more.

where you talking about legal drugs?

Goatse 06-29-2004 05:44 AM

Steroids are illegal and yet they are ubiquitous. Every gym in the country has a few users and dealers. As long as people need sleeping pills, anxiety meds, Viagra, etc., there will be a dealer providing it. The problem in North America is the Big Brother-esque attitude of doctors who refuse to give patients the medication they want and need. If you have chronic pain, they give you Darvocet instead of Vicodin. For anxiety, they push Zoloft instead of Klonopin. For sleep, they suggest Melatonin instead of Halcion.

I live on the US/Canada border. There are a great deal of Americans that come here to get their perscriptions filled at a greatly reduced price. They even have small clinics attached to the pharmacies where you can run in, get the perscription from the dr. then go down to the pharmacy and get months worth the drug(s) you need at what ends up being a fraction of the cost.

There are many Canadian online pharmacies that will send your first order free. Did you only find one canadian pharmacy or did you fine only one that was cheaper?

It looks like that's where it's headed for the US. Even the individual states are getting in on it and putting pressure on affiliates, just based on domain name whois. Most of the decent pharmacies doing affiliate programs have disappeared. Along with a lot of the money they owed their affiliates.

Theo 06-29-2004 08:57 AM

they are illegal already and that's the right thing.

pornstar2pac 06-29-2004 09:02 AM

who has the cheapest price for 100 ambien?

frankfortuna 06-29-2004 09:20 AM

Only the pharmacies pushing controlled / scheduled substances were slapped recently. Pharmacies offering non-controlled substances and follow the letter of the law will be around for some time.

webmaster x 06-29-2004 10:47 PM

Wasn't there a US law passed on this?

Madd 06-29-2004 10:50 PM

yep, wouldnt suprise me either
