I'm all about precision marketing. Branding the keywords a surfer searched for into the tour, targetted exits, etc. etc... you can make up what you would lose on a per join basis by better conversions + exits.

From what I remember, this redirect was intended to redirect TCG 2.0 old links to the correct site's home page but I think its trapping too many people. Either way, it should be fixed within a couple hours :)
