PC Technical Question......
 

OK, folks. I know some of you are total and complete Computer Heads, like I used to be, so here goes:

I've got a Soyo mbd (I needed a board fast and that is all I could find on a Sunday http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif ) and it has terrible IRQ conflicts between the USB ports and ANY multimedia device that I put in the machine. I've applied all the known patches and flashed the bios with the latest updates, but all usb cameras lock up a short while after being started. I've tried three diff cameras and have even reloaded Winblows just for shits 'n' giggles.

I'm lost. All other functions are hauling more ass than a trucker with a tractor trailer load of whores.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I've racked my brain as hard as I can nad am now thoroughly stumped.

my last board was Soyo - it fried itself after 9 months......

If you have a graphics card, try reducing the quality on its control panel. I have a Webcam go, and it doesn't like my graphics card interfering with it at all!

ya know metallica was a good band back in the day, but when they started going soft they really started to suck major ass.
