Hey girls

Do you think it's romantic if a guy gives you his varsity jacket at the Root Beer stand?

Spunky 06-28-2004 07:38 PM

This isn't the fifties...where's the traffic bitch? :BangBang:

Shit, I just read the title from the main page and couldn't figure out what the fuck was going on. I wanted the topic to just be "hey girls", but awhile ago I started a thread with free traffic, so the autofill thing in Safari filled in the free traffic part. :helpme

I must be tired cuz I'm still laughing at this :-)

A guy has never offered you his varsity jacket at the root beer stand before?

Nah....was never into jocks...and it's not something that is traditional in my neck of the woods. Heck, I don't think there were any root beer stands here either :-) Root beer became popular here about 28 years ago when the first A&W franchise came in my area & flopped not long after - just came back about 2-3 years ago. The Root Beer obsession was stronger when A&W was around then when they weren't. Coke & Pepsi have ruled as kings here.

Ok.....off topic but wanted to give you a little peek into another part of the world :-))

Well, I don't have a varsity jacket, and I don't know of any root beer stands anymore either, I was just wondering if girls still found that type of thing romantic 50 years later. :)

When I was into dating football players, I thought it was romantic when I got to wear their extra football jersey to games. But varsity jackets are lame. I lettered, but never bought the jacket.

Do you find it romantic if a guy wears a nice pair of ironed khakis?

squeezeboobs 06-28-2004 08:41 PM

I'd settle for a lubed rubber and a warm backseat.

Ironed? hmmm... khakis look hot on some guys. But not the preppy tailored ones... like, baggy khakis.
