As long as there is foreign intruders in an extremist country during war time, heads will roll. And there is nothing you can do about it, besides pull out your people asap.

There has already been hundreds, if not thousands of innocent civilian victims in Iraq. Surely the killing of their POWs would make them stop cutting heads.
